Description:
As part of a council initiative to provide day care facilities for people with complex needs, DPH were awarded the contract to install the mechanical system within this innovative building. The project included a need for renewables and therefore DPH installed two Combined Heat & Power Units within the first floor plant room.
The Mechanical Works package included:
- 3no gas boilers and 2no CHP units within the plant room
- Gas and Ventilation systems to a commercial kitchen
- Building Management System
- Above Ground Drainage
- Hot and Cold Water Services
- Air Conditioning
- Heat Recovery Ventilation
- Natural Ventilation via mechanical louvered windows
